Spot the Curvy Escalators...

Let's try to spot CURVY ESCALATORS in Singapore Shopping Malls. As long as there is an angle of turning, even if it's 0.000001 degrees (no, actually for a distinct curvature, you need more than that), just post it on the list and I will try to get the photos for it.

Well, don't they just look lovely?

These are from Wheelock Place. Rather inconspicuous, I must say. But really, they are fascinating aren't they? Well, curvy escalators are surely one unique thing that you don't see everyday. Wish more shopping malls had strange, weird building services. Wouldn't that be nice?

well...good design does make the building seem more attractive...but frankly I prefer practicality over nice showy design but impratical...it would be nice to have both ..of coz..but if it is cheaper and easier to build a straight one ..then go for the straight one la...wait build until expensive, impractical and tasteless (to some ppl)...

think they are expensive to build, and alot of considerations..and takes up leaseable space? that's why we hardly see it... besides who's gonna rush to shop there just coz there's a curvy escalator... haha

wow... amazing curvature and esthetically incline escalator. However when it come to cost (maintenance and build), take up larger space and etc, think most of the owner will rather build a simple and safer for the old ppl. this would rather cause less problem. As what i know, singapore is a fine city ....haha... little scratch and injury will really end up in a big issue. lolz...

reasonable man view.
